Immigration is, undeniably (and justifiably), a big issue in America. And while I will not address the overall issues at this time, I would like to propose a small litmus test for the desirability of prospective immigrants  to our country and for current non-citizen residents, as well:

I think that now, even more than then, this quote is relevant to our collective situation and should be used as the rallying cry for not only immigration, but also for the changes that need to take place in this country TODAY!
