Congressional Democratic leaders seem to be saying these days that a fight with the administration over constitutional boundaries is just not worth it -- that the American people are just too tired of such political infighting. Yeah, well, you know what, Speaker Pelosi and Senator Obama ? We'll be a whole lot more tired of institutionalized tyranny and a perpetually lame-duck Congress when the Executive Branch completes it's castration of both the House and Senate. Come to think of it, castration seems the perfect metaphor for much of current political activity in the U.S. [Sorry, ladies -- if you want you can replace 'castration' with 'Oophorectomy' (the surgical removal of the ovaries), for your own reference.] Existence of reproductive organs is necessary to the continuance of a species. Self-evident, right? Well, guess what? The same is true for politics, constitutions, and ways of life.
So, please, members of the House. If you would be so kind, Senators. Do your part to ensure the continuance of our republic. Get some balls.
